WTEF On-Campus Programming
operating in limited capacity.

Center for Excellence (CFE)
Our most intensive program, the Center for Excellence (CFE) is designed to help children and youth prepare to achieve self-sufficiency as young adults. More than 100 students participate in the CFE, meeting at our beautiful East Capitol Campus for three hours a day, five days a week after school.

Tiny Tots
Upwards of 300 young children, ages 2 to 4, from 16 nearby preschools and child development centers participate in our Tennis Tots program from 10am – 12pm each day. We pick up the children and their teachers in our vans and bring them to our East Capitol Campus in Ward 7, where they play on the six indoor courts.

Arthur Ashe Children's Program
Through the Arthur Ashe Children’s Program (AACP), WTEF enhances the health, safety and academic performance of elementary school students every school year. We provide academic, tennis, and life skills instruction to students after school at DC public schools in Washington, DC’s under-resourced neighborhoods.

Tennis Clinics (West Campus)
Our tennis clinics are suitable for players at all levels, from beginners to those competing in regional and national tournaments. Clinics begin every quarter. Clinics are available for adults and children.

Summer Program (East Campus)
For nine weeks between late June and late August, WTEF’s Summer Program provides 150 children and youth with an active, exciting experience in tennis, fitness, and chess at our East Capitol Campus in
Ward 7.

Community Outreach
WTEF is determined to be a positive force in the community, particularly in Ward 7, where our East Capitol Campus is located. To that end, from September through June, we provide free tennis lessons for Ward 7 residents.
West Campus
The health and safety of youth and their families is our primary focus. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and following CDC and local health department protocols, we are offering 7 and 8 week sessions starting the week of September 7, 2020. Our Fall 7 week session will occur outdoors.
