Thank you for joining us for the 2026 Stars Among Us Gala.

More than 550 supporters joined us in making our Stars Among Us Gala on July 24 one to remember. Together, we raised $1.09 million to support the stars among us today, and the stars on our horizon tomorrow. Because of you, we stand ready to launch new high-quality afterschool programming for hundreds of DC youth this year, and we are on our way to reaching 1,000 students annually through our year-round tuition-free programs by 2031. Our youngest stars shined bright.

Arianna, Ava, Jeremiah, Mina, Phoenix, and Roshan, the winners of our student speaking competition, shared their inspiring remarks and reminded us what it truly means to be life champions. It’s not just about the wins, they taught. It’s about how you learn from the ups and downs and the community you build along the way.

Distinguished Service Honoree Kevin Reilly, Champion of Tennis Chris Eubanks, WTEF partners Mark Ein (MDE Tennis) and Brian Lott (Mubadala), our Mubadala x WTEF Global Interns Alvaro Orlove Rodriguez, Iyana Nickens, and Marcus Phillip, board alumnus Andy Blocker (Edward Jones), alumna Hailey Baptiste, and hometown hero Frances Tiafoe exemplified the one-of-a-kind WTEF community we’ve built together. They were celebrated throughout the evening.

Chris Eubanks, Former ATP Tour Professional & Current Broadcaster, 2026 Honoree for Champion of Tennis

A standout presence on the global tennis stage and an inspiring role model for young athletes, Chris brings humility, joy, and sportsmanship to every court he steps on. Now bringing his insight and personality to fans through his latest work with the Tennis Channel, ESPN, and TNT, he continues to grow the game to new audiences. As a committed advocate for expanding access to tennis, he embodies the excellence, enthusiasm, and leadership that WTEF strives to instill in the next generation of champions.

A longtime WTEF tennis community member, and a local to the DC area who played tennis for Georgetown University, Kevin is a dedicated advocate for youth tennis, education and health in the region.
