Tennis Rates & Program Fees Update – Effective September 8
WTEF will implement updated court rental rates and select tennis program fees beginning September 8, 2026.
Indoor courts will increase from $31 to $32/hour and outdoor courts from $25 to $26/hour. Updated program pricing will be reflected in upcoming registration materials.
All existing court reservations made before September 8 will remain at current pricing.

Court Rentals & Private Tennis Events
WTEF East is more than a facility—it’s a gathering place where young people build confidence, families cheer from the sidelines, and our community finds new ways to connect. Every event is a chance to meet new friends, support our students, and continue growing our community.
Court Rentals
Our East Campus is located at 200 Stoddert Place, SE Washington, DC 20019, and houses six indoor and outdoor courts. The courts are available for rental through CourtReserve.com.

- Select your preferred date and time and then confirm your reservation.
- You’ll receive an email confirmation once your booking is complete.
- Ward 7 residents are required to submit a driver’s license and utility bill to [email protected] in order to receive the Ward 7 discounts after setting up a membership.
Free Community Adult Tennis

Join us for evening open play designed for adults of all skill levels. Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or looking to sharpen your game, this free play is here to bring neighbors together through fun, fitness, and community.

How to Participate & Sign Up
To participate in the Free Community Tennis Program, you must live in Ward 7, and you must provide a driver’s license AND utility bill showing your Ward 7 address.
Please send your documentation to: [email protected]. Once verified, you’ll be added as a Ward 7 member and eligible to join the free tennis sessions.

You may register for any open space up to 3 days before each session – $30 each
Impact Tennis League
WTEF has partnered with the Washington Area Tennis Association to bring you an ITT league this fall/winter, starting November 14, 2026. The leagues takes place at our indoor facility, East Capitol Campus on Saturdays from 7:30-9:30pm.

November 14, 2026 (11/14/26) to April 24, 2027 (04/24/27), for adults, seniors, and corporate, not-for-profit, and government teams
Saturdays, 7:30pm to 9:30pm

Fees
Team fee: $1,300 per team, paid by the captain. Teams play about twice per month, for 10 matches over a 20-week period.
Individual fee: Individual players looking for a team can register to be placed on one. Each individual player reimburses the team captain for their share of the team fee, based on the number of players registered on the team.
Format
One set each of men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, and women’s doubles, and two sets of mixed doubles.
The winner advances to the regional championship.
Level of play: 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0 divisions
