2012 Congressional Charity Tennis Tournament

The 2012 WTEF Congressional Charity Tennis Tournament will be held on Monday, September 10th. The tournament, featuring Tennis Legends and invited Members of Congress, will once again be held at the Washington Golf and Country Club Tennis Center in Arlington, Virginia, and all tournament proceeds will benefit the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation (WTEF).

The tennis center at Washington Golf and Country Club is beautiful, and the tournament will take place on the outdoor courts. In the event of inclement weather, the tournament will move to the indoor courts.

The event consists of an exciting day of tennis. Registration for tournament participants will begin at 11:00 AM in the Tennis Center. From 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM, all corporate sponsors and participating Members of Congress are invited to enjoy private playing time with the Legends before the tournament begins. Then at 12:15 PM, there will be a delicious lunch in the Club Ballroom.  From 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM, there will be photo opportunities with the Legends as well as Members of Congress, and the afternoon tournament will begin at 1:30 PM.

2011 Congressional Charity Tennis Tournament

The 2011 WTEF Congressional Charity Tennis Tournament (CCTT) took place on Monday, September 12th at the Washington Golf and Country Club. The event featured invited members of Congress and Tennis Legends. Tennis Legends in attendance were Gigi Fernandez, Owen Davidson, Fred Stolle, Tom Gorman, Kathy Rinaldi, Virginia Wade, Zina Garrison and Fred McNair. The CCTT featured individual hitting time with the Legends, lunch and an afternoon doubles tournament.
